The Villa, dating probably from the fourteenth century, is the result of various changes and enlargements over the years, with a recent restoration in the late 1960s.
The house and surrounding park have been recognised for their historical and artistic interest by the Italian Ministry for Cultural Heritage.
On arrival guests are greeted by the garden in front of the Villa and by the courtyard lined with an ancient wooden loggia and the arches of the hall/ballroom. From here, following the path alongside the Villa, or passing directly through the hall, they reach the park where trees frame views of the Alps and of Varese’s Sacro Monte.
